New office situated in Milan’s Isola district
Milan, London, 17 October 2018 – SpotX, the leading video advertising and monetisation platform, today announces Giuseppe Bronzino as its Managing Director for Italy. Bronzino will be responsible for smartclip and SpotX’s business in Italy, working with broadcasters and publishers, as well as brands and agencies. He will report to Kay Schneider, General Manager of Demand in Europe, and will be supported by Fabio Zoboli, General Manager SpotX Platform, Italy and Elisa Belmonte, Sales Director, SpotX.
SpotX and smartclip have merged their business operations and will now operate as SpotX Italia S.r.l. in the region. The team will be based in new offices in the Isola district, on via Restelli 5 and will work across the full SpotX product suite including addressable linear TV advertising.
Bronzino has over fifteen years of digital advertising experience, having previously worked as Managing Director at Teads.tv in Italy and Managing Director at BeeAd & We Spread Department (EBuzzing Group) for six years before joining smartclip as Commercial Director in 2015. Since he joined, Bronzino has consolidated the sales business and expanded the company’s commercial agreements, and was part of the team which developed smartclip’s video advertising and multi-screen solutions for the European market. Luca Di Cesare, who launched the smartclip office in Italy in 2011, will move into an advisory role.
With ten years of digital advertising experience, Elisa Belmonte joined smartclip Italy as Sales Manager in 2017, after positions in the sales and accounting teams at Exponential, Advit, Emailvision Italy and eCircle. Before joining SpotX in 2017, Fabio Zoboli was Country Manager for Italy at Strossle, and Director of Publisher Development Italy and UK at Teads.tv, as well as Publisher Manager at EBuzzing before that.
