It’s as simple as a tag to integrate, but comes with all the benefits of a direct integration, including rich video metadata, Priority Sync and fraud and viewability measurement.
We’ve developed three options that give publishers the flexibility they need to run the implementation with their tech stack:
- If the publisher wants to start leveraging SpotX as the primary ad server, we have a direct integration into JW Player that can be enabled with a single click. SpotX performs our parallel ad decisioning that we have been doing for 10+ years, competing 65+ DSPs demand sources simultaneously.
- If SpotX is not the primary ad server, publishers can leverage SpotX and JW Player’s Video Player Bidding solution. This solution calls SpotX at a predetermined price floor. If SpotX can meet or exceed this price floor, JW Player displays the ad directly into the player. If the price floor is not met, publishers have the option to enable a fallback call to DFP. This solution eliminates unnecessary calls and line item set up, streamlining ad delivery.
- Finally, if publishers are not interested in reducing latency, SpotX and JW Player still offer a traditional header bidding set up directly within the player.
This is the first time video tech and ad tech have been merged into a single solution.
