Mercedes Alonso Sena and Justine Remillard join supply team to support Spanish publishers and broadcasters
Madrid 13 November, 2018, – Global video advertising and monetisation platform SpotX is continuing to grown in Europe with the appointment of Mercedes Alonso Sena as Account Coordinator, Supply.
Alonso Sena has five years of account management experience in Spain, earned most recently in her role as Account Executive at ActionsDATA. Whilst there, Alonso Sena helped clients achieve their business objectives through the application of data. In her new role at SpotX, she will work with Marta Lopez, Account Manager, Supply, in supporting clients in Spain. This will include integrating products for modern ad serving, monetisation, yield management and a range of programmatic revenue optimisation tools including private marketplaces and Curated Marketplaces. She holds a BSc in Information Science from the University of Madrid and a BSc in Sociology from the National Distance Education University.
Also joining the team is Justine Remillard who brings experience from All Response Media where, as a Media Executive, she assisted in planning, booking, reporting and analysing digital campaigns for clients. Justine holds a BSc in Mathematics and International Management from the University of Leeds. The pair will report to Managing Director for the UK and Spain, Ed Wale.

In September, Ed Wale was promoted to Managing Director for the UK and Spain. He reports into Léon Siotis who is now General Manager of Supply in Europe as part of a new management team to oversee all aspects of SpotX’s business in Europe. The team also comprises Irina Petricek-Steiner, General Manager of Operations in Europe; Kay Schneider, General Manager of Demand in Europe; and Thomas Servatius, Chief Technology Officer, European Broadcaster Solutions.
