Company Brings Digital Video Advertising Technology and Expertise to the Region
DENVER and CHICAGO — January 24, 2019 — SpotX, the leading global video advertising and monetization platform, is expanding its operations with the opening of a new office in Chicago, Illinois. Located in the River North neighborhood at 515 North State Street just blocks away from the Chicago River, the office will be occupied by a growing team already located across the city.
SpotX first hired two Chicago-based employees in 2016 who have been working remotely until now, as the team has more than tripled in size with six full-time employees in the area. The new space marks the company’s 25th office location in the world and primarily hosts staff from the Mid-Market and Agency Development Demand Facilitation Teams. SpotX’s Demand Facilitation Team provides expert service to advertisers looking to optimize their media buys across a variety of digital platforms including mobile, desktop, and over-the-top (OTT).
“Chicago is home to a growing number of media industry players — from premium broadcasters to digital publishers and advertisers looking to reach audiences at all levels,” said Matt Mittal, senior director of agency development at SpotX who has been with the company since 2016. “Adding an official office in ‘the Windy City’ will allow us to work more closely with our customers and assist in all their video advertising needs.”
