Wavemaker media center leverages interactive pre-roll format to drive user engagement on desktop and mobile
Milan, 4 March 2019 – SpotX, the leading global video advertising and monetisation platform, is hosting a new desktop and mobile campaign for Ricola, leading Swiss quality brand and one of the most up-to-date and innovative candy producers in the world, leveraging the interactive pre-roll format to promote the selection of Swiss herbal candies.
The media strategy, conceived by Wavemaker media center, uses SpotX for the distribution of the new campaign on air from 18 February to 10 March, which aims to increase user engagement and discover the Ricola universe.
The campaign uses the interactive pre-roll format, leveraging a 15 second video to highlight the Ricola candies selection and its main ingredient: 13 Swiss herbs that allow a voice to demonstrate a range of emotions. The video shows a moment when a clear voice and throat is essential, such as delivering a presentation.
There are two main interactive elements in the campaign video, soliciting different calls to action: a clickable gallery presenting Ricola candies boxes with a ‘Buy Now’ button redirecting to the online shop; and a clickable Ricola logo that drives viewers to Ricola’s homepage. The elements are designed to stimulate curiosity and encourage the user to discover more and buy their favourite flavours.
